Developed as a Microsoft Access application,
"Planning and Budgeting Tool (PBT)," has been the primary
application for companys' planners & comptrollers to
develop & coordinate their Nationwide Business Plan/Budget.
Budgets are developed at individual offices nationally,
and with PBT, allows managers to roll-up data through
Regional offices and ultimately at the National Office
headquarters. Data can then be automatically uploaded
into their AS/400 based accounting system. PBT, version
1.0 was initially deployed nationally in January 1997,
with formal training provided by Innovative Office Systems. |
